It is a common phenomenon that Chinese undergraduates hold different values of love. This study is based on interviewing, observation and literature reviewing with the theories of social construction and exchanging, in the hope of research over the gender differences on the value of love. Result shows male students are more active, while females cherish the male dominance; males have more family supports than females; and their criteria remain more or less similar in both appearance and competence.
