On Ding Haochuan's educational thought

摘要:

我国现代教育家丁浩川, 经过长期的实践和探索, 在教育理论方面取得了显著成就。他认为教师的职业是崇高的, 教师应注重塑造学生的灵魂, 要在教育过程中发挥主导作用, 努力实现教师主导和学生主体的最佳结合, 提倡重视教学管理, 倡导学校管理者要做学校管理的“内行”。他的这些关于教育理论的论述虽不尽完善, 但对我国当前师范教育的改革仍具有重要的借鉴意义

Abstract:

Based on his long practice and research, Mr. Ding Haochuan, the modern Chinese educator, attained remarkable achievement in education theory. His main ideas are as follows:1. Teaching is a noble profession. 2. The teachers should pay much attention to remoulding the souls of the students while play a leading role in teaching. 3. The teachers should do their utmost to integrate the teachers′ guiding function and the students' incentive. 4. Much attention must be paid to the school administration and the administrators in schools must be“experts” in administration. Although not perfect, his theory can be taken for our reference in the present day reform of teacher education.
