摘要/Abstract
《袁氏世范》是堪与《颜氏家训》相媲美的家训著作。其显著特点是强调以均爱睦家、以和易处世、以公心理财,提倡教于幼、不废学、使有业的成人原则与合于情理、约于法度的行为准则。要求人们修身向善、克己持德等。所有这些都是现代家庭伦理建设不可多得的文化资源。《袁氏世范》不重说教、立足于日用伦常,其入情入理的家教方法也是值得后人借鉴的。
The Yuan Family Education and The Yan Family Education are two parallel works of education, whose common features are to encourage people to develop a heart with harmonious, loving, fair, and devoting enthusiasm. Thus, grown- ups should teach the young, to enable them to adapt to the reasoning, legal and social rules with a tolerant virtue. All this serves as invaluable cultural resources for the family ethic construction. And the writing style of The Yuan Family Education is also touching in simplicity and rationality of persuasion
