The writer of the paper considers it necessary to perform the integral reform of educational evaluation from the open, individualized and democratic perspectives, in order to meet the demand of the reform of the new curriculum. The open perspective is intended to adapt the evaluation to the open features of new curricula. Meanwhile, the individualization attends to the individual development, admitting the differences, diversities and versatilities of individuals. As well, the democratic feature speaks for the tendency of developing educational democracy. Likewise, the educational evaluation is aimed at not only assessing and monitoring the teaching, but also improving democracy.
