For a better understanding of the parental impacts over the growth of their junior-high children, the authors of this paper show their empirical explorations, by means of a quantified Eysenck questionnaire, of 389 students in two schools in the urban and rural districts of Shijiazhuang City. The result shows:1. junior high school children vary in gender and originality, with boys more prone to being solitary, stubborn, and unsociable, and the urban boys more outward, vivacious, and open-minded; 2. parental impacts are obvious on their children, with father's warm-hearted understanding, severe punishment and prejudice, mother's refusal, punishment, and prejudice known as the top 6 factors.
