Lancaster and his popular educational thoughts in monitorial system

摘要/Abstract

摘要:

兰卡斯特是英国民众教育的积极践行者和民众教育思想的积极倡导者;他的民众教育实践活动分为英国和美国两个阶段;他倡导并积极推行导生制的动力源于其民众教育的思想;他提出的一些教育建议具有明显的前瞻性,如实施强迫教育、清除道德败坏教师、关注女孩教育、为学生建立公费保险制度等。

Abstract:

Lancaster is an educator to actively practice monitorial system both in England and USA. His educational thoughts are popular with the poor people. He is foresighted in enforcing the compulsory education,expelling immoral teachers, calling attention to female education and instituting premiums at the public expenses.
