A survey of the extra -curricular reading of the English majors
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
针对高职高专院校实践教学的现状,指出加强教学内涵建设是提高教学质量、培养学生工程实践能力的根本所在,并提出以专业建设为核心、建设"双师型"教师队伍、以实验室和实训基地为平台,确立新的教学理念是提升学生工程实践能力的有效途径。
Abstract：
The paper studies, through interview and questionnaire, the extra. curricular reading of the English majors of different grades in relation to the time, option, purpose, and methods. Problems are discussed, and strategies offered to improve the autonomous learning and enthusiasm of the students.
