On the official schools and the rites in Qing dynasty
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
清代地方官学是各地标志性的官方建筑之一, 是儒家政治原则中教化思想的物化象征, 亦是举行释奠、乡饮酒礼等礼仪的重要场所。清政府对各种礼的规定具体而详尽, 试图通过在地方官学中举行各种礼仪行礼乐教化之实, 但各地并无足够的财力依制举行, 以致制度上规定的礼仪无法在实践中确实执行。
Abstract：
While the official schools are the symbolic official buildings everywhere in the Qing, they serve as places to hold important ceremonies of, say, sacrifices and country drinking etiquette, and to spread the political Confucianism at large. The regulations are stipulated in detail by the Qing government to enforce the education of rites. However, the rites are hardly executed due to the lack of financial support from the government.
