Rise and fall of the instant schooling of the workers and peasants

摘要：
工农速成中学是人民共和国建国之初参考苏联经验,发展工农教育的产物之一.从1950年12月至1955年7月,因教育部两份文件,从法理上它只存在了不足5年,在共和国教育走过的60年中,约占1/12比例.兴办之初备受关注、饱受赞扬,却因"先天不良"、经验不足、抑或"水土不服",尽管兴办之中对其领导、课程、招生、就业等问题不断地加以调适,最终只能转轨.这一教育组织形式是共和国早期教育极为重要的经验教训之一.
Abstract：
The instant high school for workers and peasants marks Chinese learning of the former Soviet experience. The five years of the education from December, 1950 to July, 1955 is not long, however, it takes one twelfth of the length of the Republic. Despite the initial daring, the efforts soon dwindle due to shortage of the managing experiences and inefficiency. The lesson resulted from the failure is worth remembering.
