A comparative study of Tang Wenzhi and Chen Yuan on the classic Chinese education
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
唐文治与陈垣都是著名的现代中国大学校长。他们执掌学校期间,均十分重视对学生进行普及型或专业型国学教育。他们尽管学术路径不一,然而在办学过程中所体现的国学教育理念又极其相似。由于唐文治重经学,陈垣重史学,故而他们在国学教育课程设置、教材选择以及教师延聘等方面,既有共同性又有差异性,但他们均为我国培养和造就了一大批“德艺双馨”的国学人才,为传扬中华传统文化做出了重要贡献。
Abstract：
Tang Wenzhi and Chen Yuan are both heads of the famed modern universities in China.They pay attention to the peculiarized and popularized classic Chinese education.Despite their different approaches,their educational concepts reveal extreme resemblances.Tang Wenzhi puts more emphasis on classics,while Chen Yuan history.Likewise,their classic Chinese education differs in curriculum,textbooks and employment of teaching staffs.
