摘要/Abstract
摘要：
直隶是清末各省兴学的先锋,办理成效亦极昭著,堪为各地之模范。究其原因,极重要的一点是官绅协力。封疆大吏教育思想明确,积极倡导兴学,制定各种学堂规章,广筹教育经费,在办学方向上起着引导作用,在政策上提供了支持,在财力上提供了保障,推进了兴学活动的迅速扩展；基层的州县官员在上级的督促之下,积极筹措办学经费,创建新式学堂；士绅在新的形势下,深入、广泛地参与地方事务,对于地方官员的行动给予了有力的配合,提供了兴学所需的人力和物力资源。
Abstract：
Hebei(used to be called Zhili by late Qing) province is a good example for successful education.The reason is the assistance of the officials and gentry,who have clear thinking of the education,advocate schooling,help with rules and regulations,manage the financial support,and provide with support of policies.The gentry cooperate with officials in the provision of human and material resources.
