摘要：
耶鲁大学的建立与发展,是与清教密切相关的。作为今日耶鲁大学的缔造者,清教传统直接影响了耶鲁大学自由、独立精神的塑造、教授做主体制的形成,并造就了耶鲁独特的使命感与责任意识。
Abstract：
It is argued that the development of Yale University is inseparable from the Puritan tradition, which influences the spirit of freedom and independence. Professors are the principal force, and Yale commitmment is formed.
