中国传统学徒制的历史脉络、价值意蕴及现代转换

Traditional Apprenticeship System in China: Historical Trajectory, Value Connotation, and Modern Transformation
摘要/Abstract
作为我国古代社会的技艺传承教育模式,“子承父业、师徒传承”式的传统学徒制在培养工匠、延续专业技能、承载文化创新的历史演进中发挥着重要作用。传统学徒制在不同历史时期呈现出不同的发展图景,其在突破家传束缚后逐渐形成了制度化的师徒训练,凝结出意蕴深远的内在价值共识:同时注重专业技术与职业道德是其基本价值要求,构建双向互动的亲密师徒关系是其核心价值内涵,铸造精益求精的工匠精神并成就传世精品是其崇高价值追求。在数千年的岁月洗礼中,传统学徒制焕发新生,在新时代职业教育高质量发展的进程中进行现代转换,契合工匠精神,发辉育人底蕴,不断探索具有中国特色的现代学徒制,进一步精进“道技合一”的职业追求,构建师徒命运共同体,涵养大国工匠,为技能强国的高质量发展和高技能人才培养提供技能根基,为中国特色现代职业教育体系建设和内涵式发展赋能增效。
As an educational model for transmitting skills and knowledge in ancient Chinese society, the traditional apprenticeship system characterized by “sons inheriting fathers’ trades and masters passing knowledge to apprentices” played a significant role in cultivating artisans, perpetuating professional expertise, and carrying forward cultural innovation throughout historical development. The traditional apprenticeship system presented distinct developmental landscapes across different historical periods. After breaking through the constraints of hereditary transmission, it gradually formed a comprehensive and standardized master-apprentice training structure, crystallizing profound intrinsic value consensus: the simultaneous cultivation of professional skills and vocational ethics represented its fundamental value requirement; the establishment of intimate, interactive master-apprentice relationships constituted its core value connotation; and forging a spirit of craftsmanship striving for excellence while producing masterpieces embodied its lofty value pursuit. Through millennia of evolution, the traditional apprenticeship system has been revitalized through modern transformation in the new era of vocational education. By aligning with the contemporary spirit of craftsmanship and leveraging its educational heritage, China continues to explore modern apprenticeship models with distinctive Chinese characteristics. This transformation further refines the vocational pursuit of “integrating Dao (principles) with skills,” constructs a community of shared destiny between masters and apprentices, nurtures master artisans of national caliber, provides foundational support for the high-quality development of a “skills-powered nation” and the cultivation of highly skilled talent, and enhances the effectiveness of constructing a modern Chinese vocational education system through connotative development.
