具身认知视域下儿童哲学学习空间的重构

Reconstructing the Learning Space of Philosophy for Children from the Perspective of Embodied Cognition

摘要:

当前儿童的哲学学习空间正面临“离身”的困境,其空间结构阻碍了儿童身体的互动,所创设的思考环境没有对儿童身体形成足够的安全感,儿童的哲学探究沦为一种无身体的行动,因此,引入具身认知理论是当务之急。在杜威实用主义哲学的意义上,儿童哲学与具身认知理论之间是彼此互通的,它们都批判了传统的身心二元论,指出身体是认识的基础,强调身体与环境的互动交融。身体在儿童哲学实践中具有重要意义,身体感知是哲学探究的认知基础,身体经验是思维发展的重要基石,身体行动则是哲学探究的实践方式。重建儿童哲学的学习空间必须要同时关注身体的内部空间性和身体的外部空间,努力建构自由安全的学习空间,创建开放包容的学习空间以及转向动态生成的学习空间。

Abstract:

The current philosophical learning space for children is facing the problem of “disembodiment.” Its spatial structure hinders children’s bodily interactions, and the environment for thinking has not yet developed enough security for children’s bodies. Children’s philosophical inquiry has been reduced to a kind of bodiless action. Therefore, the introduction of embodied cognition theories would be considered an urgent and significant task. In the sense of John Dewey’s pragmatism, philosophy for children and embodied cognition theory are interconnected, both criticizing the traditional dualism of body and mind, pointing out that the body is the basis of cognition, and emphasizing the interaction between the body and the surrounding environment. The body has an important significance to the practice of philosophy for or with children, with body perception as a cognitive foundation for philosophical inquiry, body experience as a cornerstone for the development of children’s thinking, and body action as a practical way of philosophical exercises. In order to reconstruct the philosophical learning space informed by embodied cognition, it is necessary to pay attention to both the internal and the external space of the body, and endeavor to construct a free and safe classroom atmosphere, create an open and inclusive cultural space, and turn to a dynamically generated space.
