Family education is the foundation of all education. At present, family education in China has become a trendy topic. The promulgation of the Family Education Promotion Law of the People’s Republic of China promoted family education to a new height. Incorporating family education into higher education is not only conducive to improving the family education ability of future parents, but also conducive to the cultivation of family education professionals, which is of great significance and value for the implementation of the law. However, it is difficult to incorporate family education into higher education due to such problems as the contradiction between the experiential nature and life character of family education and the scientific nature and regularity of higher education disciplines, the inadequate university conditions, the uncertainty of social demand, and the lack of encouraging policies and regulations in the state level. Therefore, we need to accelerate the scientific approaches to family education, improve the teaching and research level of family education in colleges and universities, improve the family education guidance and service system, and develop supportive policies and regulations, so as to promote the discipline construction of family education, promote real incorporation of family education into higher education, and ensure the smooth implementation of Family Education Promotion Law.
