The reform of higher education evaluation is vital to the reform of higher education. In 2020, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the Overall Plan for Deepening Educational Evaluation Reform in the New Era. It means that educational evaluation reform has become a principal line of the education reform in the new era. Thanks to the efforts of the education administrations and colleges and universities at all levels, the reform of higher education evaluation has achieved initial success, which is mainly reflected in the comprehensive implementation of the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the promotion of classified evaluation, and more importance attached to the improvement of personnel quality. In order to deepen the reform in the future, we should pay more attention to the evaluation of moral education in the daily work of colleges and universities, extend classified evaluation to more fields, strengthen the role of teacherstudent interaction in improving the quality of personnel cultivation, and enhance university cultural construction.
