International Chinese teacher educators are different from general teacher educators, as they need to be aware of the diverse education cultures in different nations in the world. It is important to cultivate their international perspective, as it will give second-language teaching of Chinese an added advantage in areas of education, language and culture during the transformation periods. And it will change the current situation of using short-term training as supplement to formal international Chinese teachers' education.
