The internationalization of Chinese higher education has seen two turning points in terms of Chinese students overseas, and foreign students in China. Along with the continuous promotion of the "one belt and one way" initiative, the demand for talents has increased, the prospect of labor market broader, students' transnational mobility increased and quality enhanced. Chinese foreign cooperation comes across more opportunities in running schools. Under new circumstances, the attitude and strategy of internationalization of Chinese higher education should be adjusted for the socialist construction with Chinese characteristics and the need of "one belt and one road" construction in the new era. Measures should be taken to improve the quality of internationalized education and form the internationalized road with Chinese characteristics.
