The universities of applied sciences and their features in Germany

摘要/Abstract

摘要：

20世纪60年代末期德国应用科技大学开始创建，它是兼具学术性与应用性的新型高等教育机构。在近半个世纪发展中，德国应用科技大学在人才培养、办学定位、专业设置、师资队伍建设等方面形成了鲜明特色，为德国社会输送了大批应用型人才。德国应用科技大学的创建、发展及其办学特色对我国高等教育具有如下启示：一是转变高等教育发展理念，积极推进应用科技大学建设；二是以工程教育专业认证为抓手，切实提升应用型人才培养质量；三是构建应用型高校与多层次高等教育的“立交桥”，为大学生成长成才提供多种通道。

Abstract：

In the late 1960s the universities of applied sciences emerge in Germany which are of both academia and application. They have shown distinctive characteristics, through a half of century of development, in educational model, objectives, curricula and teacher development. This paper argues that it is meaningful for Chinese higher education in relation to change of educational conceptions, promotion of professional students, and construction of a multilateral overpass that enables universities of applied science to provide a variety of channels for students.
