美国高等教育治理的历史演进与实践逻辑

A historical account of the control of American higher education

摘要/Abstract

摘要:

美国高等教育的历史悠久。在美国高等教育发展的三百多年间,其高等教育结构及其治理理念几经变革。美国高等教育治理主要历经了传统学术治理、市场自由治理和绩效责任治理三个时期。在不同的治理时期,其高等教育外部和内部的运行机制各异,最后形成了独有的治理模式,并为美国高等教育的强大提供了良好的治理架构。

Abstract:

The history of American higher education is over three hundred years, whose concept of structure and governance has changed through three stages, i.e., traditional free academic governance, marketing governance and accountability. The governance is different with external and internal operational mechanisms, so that a unique governance model is formed as a framework of American higher education.
