At the end of the 19th century, with schools exclusively for women coming into being, the female education in China extricates itself from the impediment of social system, customs and poverty. After going through four major breakthroughs, it eventually becomes the principal part of the national education and has completed the historical change from feudal to modern education, from aristocratic to mass education, which promotes women to complete the transformation of their social roles by means of educational revolution.
