Despite the support from the authority, the early childhood education remains poor in quality, short of qualified teachers, and uneven in development. Therefore, the writer argues for the the measures be taken to solve the problems. First, educational conceptions need to be strengthened and interactive teaching methods improved. Second, sufficient number of preschool teachers should be recruited, and pre-post training should be enhanced. Third, funds should be evenly allocated to help underdeveloped regions and reduce regional and urban-rural differences.
