Perspectives of autonomous recruitments in Xiamen university
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
私立时期厦门大学招生考试，作为近代中国私立大学自主招生的典型案例，其特点有六：自主招生，分工明确；标准严格，宁缺勿滥；多处设考，方便考生；审核免试，多元入学；缴费入学，注册规范；奖励优秀，补助贫寒。严格的招生标准与完善的入学选拔制度，使厦门大学招来大批优秀生源，培养出众多精英人才。透过其自主招生考试实践，总结经验，能够加深对高校招生考试发展规律的认识，为当今高校招生考试改革提供有益借鉴。
Abstract：
This paper takes the autonomous recruitments of Xiamen university as a case study of those in the private universities of modern China, with six features, clarified objectives, strict criteria, convenience with numerous examination centers, flexible confirmations, standard registration, scholarships and financial aides.All this may as well be enlightening for the recruitment reforms today.
