The current educational system of the United States is structurally based upon two ideal premises: 1. All people must be guaranteed a sound primary and secondary education. However, local economic inequalities have directly resulted in the ultimately exacerbated divisions between the rich and poor in their access to the equalities. 2. All people must be guaranteed access to post-secondary education, namely, in a college or university. It is asserted by the American education that students should be taught to be creative with independent thinking.
