A tentative study of humanity of Yan Yuan
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
为了给自己的学、教、治主张奠定理论基础, 颜元在驳斥程朱学派的天理性善、气质有恶的人性理论的同时, 提出了自己的性善论, 认为天理性善, 气质亦非恶, 恶由引蔽习染所致, 对人性作出了朴素的唯物主义的理解。
Abstract：
Yan Yuan refuted the in-born kind versus implanted evil by the Cheng-Zhu school, and at the same time, founded his own theoret ical basis of learning, teaching, and management. He hypothesized concept of the human nature that is in-born kind. It is his belief that humans are born kind, with some developing their bad habits leading to the so-called evil nature. This is his contribution to the understanding of the dialect materialism.
