An empirical study of the distributional changes of higher education in three regions
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
通过采用计量研究、比较研究的方法,对1949年以来中国东中西部高等教育区域差异的变迁作系统的梳理与分析,探讨形成和影响高等教育的区域差异的原因,揭示高等教育区域差异与社会变迁区域差异之间的互动关系,从而建立地方社会发展与高等教育发展之间的良性互动,实行区域推进策略,这是中国高等教育发展的应然选择。
Abstract：
This paper demonstrates a systematic study,performed by a quantitative and comparative methods,of the changes taking place in the eastern,middle,and western China since 1949.The study is intended to explore their causes,regionaldifferences,social changes,and their co-related interactions.It is concluded that the beneficent social and educational development in various regions will determine the substantial development of Chinese higher education.
