On Peter Newmark ’s translation theory

摘要：
彼得·纽马克撰写了多部翻译理论著作,将翻译文本类型进行分类,提出了语义翻译、交际翻译的概念,同时他对自己的理论进行了进一步扩充——提出了关联翻译法,为国内外译界提供了很好的指导,为繁荣译论做出了重大贡献。
Abstract：
Peter Newmark has written many preeminent works on translation theory, in which he classifies the translation texts into different types, and puts forward the notion of semantic translation, communicative translation and correlative approach to translation. This paper is aimed to an overview of the creative work by Peter Newmark in the translation theory.
