The use of mobile communication has reframed time and space,and expanded flowing space and timeless time in mobile communication network.It reflects spatio-temporal transition theory.In order to make the study qualitatively and quantitatively,three mobile communication indices and four population technical composition indices in China are used in this study.Firstly,correlation degree between population technical composition and mobile communication in this paper indicates the relation between knowledge people and mobile communication.Then the spatio-temporal transition theory of mobile communication is discussed,and finally the mechanism of spatio-temporal transition theory impact on knowledge people's using of mobile communication is revealed by two aspects of "non-fixed place" and "one's absence".The research findings are as follows:1) The spatio-temporal transition of mobile communication deepens the separation of space which one's body and thought in.It hinders social interaction in the same place,while at the same time maintains the distance contact.The knowledge people can enjoy this convenient best.2) The spatio-temporal transition of mobile communication makes the communication activity instant,and also transforms the meaningless "in-between time" and "in-between space" to social context which aids people to build or strengthen their interpersonal relationship.The knowledge people will make more use of this opportunity.3)Temporal transition of space can be achieved by basic effects of the spatio-temporal transition theory of mobile communication,and the relationship between time and space is reconstructed,then the role of time and spatio-temporal fusion are intensified.All of this strengthens people's change in parallel time and space at anywhere or anytime,thus,spatio-temporal transition theory has positive effect on knowledge people using mobile communication.
