Pt-ZrO2/C电催化剂在碱性介质中对乙醇的电氧化

Electro-oxidation of Ethanol on Pt-ZrO2/C Electrocatalyst in Alkaline Media

摘要:

制备了Pt-ZrO2/C催化剂,采用TEM,XRD等技术对其进行表征。利用循环伏安和电化学阻抗谱等方法研究Pt-ZrO2/C催化剂在碱性溶液中对乙醇氧化的电化学活性,并与Pt/C催化剂(20%Pt,E TEK)进行对比。研究结果表明,Pt-ZrO2/C催化剂具有较高的乙醇电氧化催化活性。电流密度最高的是n(Pt)∶n(ZrO2)为1∶1的样品,该比值为1∶4时显示出最低乙醇氧化峰电势。

Abstract:

Pt-ZrO2/C catalyst was prepared and characterized by TEM and XRD.The electrochemical activity of Pt-ZrO2/C catalyst for ethanol oxidation was investigated by using cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in alkaline solutions and compared with Pt/C(20 %Pt,ETEK).The results showed that Pt-ZrO2/C gave higher catalytic activity for ethanol electro-oxidation.The highest current density was obtained at Pt-ZrO2/C molar ratio with 1∶1 and the lower peak potential appeared when the Pt-ZrO2/C molar ratio was 1∶4.
