The Epidemiological Study of Yellow and White Scour of Newborn Piglets in Hebei Province and the Isolation and Identification of the Pathogens
摘要/Abstract
仔猪黄白痢是危害养猪业的一种常见疾病.通过对河北省不同地区17家猪场的走访调查,探讨仔猪黄白痢大规模爆发的原因和防治对策,并从某猪场发病仔猪的排泄物中分离得到1株菌,经形态学、生物化学和分子生物学实验鉴定,该分离株为革兰氏阴性菌,克氏三糖铁培养产酸产气,LTB与M17873核苷酸序列同源性为100%,该菌株确定为产肠毒素型大肠杆菌.
Yellow and white scour of newborn piglets are common diseases which influence the development of the pig industry heavily.Seventeen farms in different regions of Hebei province were visited to explore the reasons for the largescale outbreak of these diseases and its countermeasures.A strain of bacteria was isolated from the excretion of yellow and white scour piglets.The morphology,biochemistry and molecular biology experiments were used to identify this bacteria.The result proved that this isolated bacteria was gram-negative,and it would produce acid and gas when cultured in triple sugar iron agar.The homologies of nucleic acids between the LTB gene of the isolated bacteria and M17873 was 100 %.This strain was identified as enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli.
