复合腔掺铒光纤激光器功率的稳定输出

Study on Stable Output of Erbium2doped Fiber Laser with Complex Cavities

摘要/Abstract

摘要:

一种复合腔结构的稳定单纵模(SLM)掺铒光纤激光器,其复合腔结构由主环形有源腔和2个次级无源腔组成.这种激光器是利用布拉格光纤光栅(FBG)和复合腔结构相结合来共同选模.在整个波长调节范围内边模抑制比大于45dB,在1550.24nm附近边模抑制比可以达到最大值51dB.当泵浦功率为80mW时,掺铒光纤激光器输出功率为20.51mW.通过应用多环型腔结构,激光器的输出很稳定,在25min的观察时间内,输出功率的变化小于0.02%,实现了稳定的激光功率输出.

Abstract:

A stable single2longitudinal2mode erbium2doped fiber laser (EDFL) with complex cavity has been proposed. The complex cavity consists of a main ring cavities and two passive subring cavities.The fiber Bragg FBG) and complex cavity are combined for mode selection.The main wavelength is 1550.24 nm and theside2mode suppression ration (SMSR) is beyond 45 dB,the maximum SMSR value is up to 51 dB around 1 553nm. The output power of EDFL is 20.51 mW when pumping power is 80 mW. With the MRC configuration,the ring laser output is stable,the output power fluctuation is less than 0.02% in 25 min,EDFL with stabilized single-longitudinalmode is achieved.
