Controlling the Open Flow by Spatiotemporal Periodic Pulses

摘要:

提出了分别利用时间和空间的周期脉冲扰动,实现开流系统时空混沌控制的方法.通过数据模拟,其中空间周期脉冲方法能使系统稳定到预期空间周期态上;时间周期脉冲方法则能实现系统时间周期空间不动点和空间准周期的控制.若将扰动强度λ作为加入扰动后新系统的一个参量,改变λ可再现从空间不动点到时空混沌的演化过程

Abstract:

The paper presents a method of controlling the open flow that works by applying spatial and temporal periodic pulses to the system variables. The system can be controlled to the desired spatial periodicity by spatial periodic pulse. The temporal periodic pulse can stabilize the system to spatial fixed-point with temporal periodicity and spatial quasiperiodicity. In addition, if the strength of the temporal periodic pulse is looked as a new parameter of the controlled system, the system will eveolve from spatial fixed-point with temporal periodicity to spatiotemporal chaos when the strength of pulses is changed.
