玻璃光纤倍频效应的产生机理

On the Mechanism of Second -harmonic Generation in Glass Fiber

摘要/Abstract

摘要:

在玻璃光纤内的纤芯包层分界面上存在双电层,分界面对光波p分量的正半周与负半周的折射率不同,造成了该界面对反射光波正、负半周的相移也不同.利用Fourier级数展开原理分析了玻璃光纤内的各种频谱成份,得到了玻璃光纤中倍频效应的振幅.结果表明,由于分界面对反射光波正、负半周的相移不同,玻璃光纤内倍频效应的系数不为0.

Abstract:

Due to the existing of electric double layer on the surface of core-cladding,phase shift of the positive sem-i period of p-component is different from that of the negative sem-i period,which results from the different refraction index of the positive and the negative sem-i period of p-component.All kinds of the frequencies in glass fiber are analyzed with the method of Fourier series expansion,and the amplitude of sec-ond -harmonic generation in glass fiber is calculated out.It shows that the coefficient of second-harmonic eneration(SHG)in glass fiber isn.t equal to zero just because of the different phase shift of the positive and the negative sem-i period of p-component
