掺铒光纤激光器及其特性

Erbium -doped Fiber Laser and Its Properties

摘要/Abstract

摘要:

研究了掺铒光纤激光器,利用掺铒光纤在1 550 nm的增益特性,用980 nm的泵浦光注入,通过光纤光栅滤波和光振荡,从而得到波长为1 550.24 nm,3 dB带宽为0.06 nm,输出功率为20 mW的激光.在此基础上对影响功率稳定性的因素进行了分析,提出了具体的改进措施.结果表明,激光器的功率稳定性得到明显提高.

Abstract:

With the wide application of the fiber lasers in optical communication, sensors, medicine, industry process and so on, they are becoming the most important optical source of laser in the future. Based on the character of the EDF gain at 1 550 nm, a laser diode ( 980 nm) acted as the pumping source, a Bragg grating used as filter, a ring -cavity al- l fiber laser worked at 1 550. 24 nm was demonstrated with an outputpower of 20 mW and a bandwidth of 0. 06 nm at 3 dB. The stability of the laser was analyed detailedly and the ways to solve the problems were given. Finaly, the result shows that the stability of the laser was better.
