As the flourishing development of the tourism industry in China,a new type of self-help &friend-ly travel model—home exchange emerged as the times require.And more and more domestic tourists concerned about it.It analyzed the definition,meaning,the origin and the actualities of the home exchange tourism.It found out that the safety,the match of houses,the agencies and the legal protection are the main limited factors of its development.Finally the paper puts forward the countermeasures such as establishing the credit system,stan-dardizing the market management,guiding the agencies and establishing legal protection system to accelerate the development of it.
