The forming condition of the bubble array has been investig ated .In the experiment , the regular array could be formed in garnet bubble films by a series of pulse bias field .The bubble array appearshexagonal-close-packed (hcp)structure .The forming condition of the bubble array is related w ith the amplitude (H^P)and the width (τ^P)of the series of pulse bias field .It is found that there is a threshold width(τ^P0)of pulse ,which is related with parameter of material, the bubble array can be obtained only when τ^P≥τ^P0.For one static bias field (H^b), the pulse amplitude of the forming bubble does not change when τ^Pchanges .It is found that the co ndition of f orming bubble array under the static bias field and the pulse biasfield is :H^P+H^b=H^sb.
