屏状核的解剖结构及生理功能

Anatomical Structure and Physiological Function of Claustrum

摘要/Abstract

摘要:

屏状核位于大脑外囊和极外囊之间,是一层很薄的灰质,由于其特殊的位置以及与大脑皮层的很多区域存在着双向连接,被认为是大脑的“意识开关”. 一直以来,我们对屏状核的功能知之甚少,促使研究者们努力揭开其神秘面纱. 综述了屏状核在组织结构、纤维联系的特点和屏状核对意识产生、认知功能、睡眠等调节机制的最新进展,以期为进一步深入认识屏状核的结构及生理作用提供参考.

Abstract:

The claustrum is a thin layer of gray matter located between the cerebral external capsule and extreme capsule. Because of its special location and bidirectional connections with many areas of the cerebral cortex,it is considered to be the brain′s “conscious switch”. Until recently,little was known about the function of claustrum. Herein,the latest progress in the organization of claustrum,the characteristics of fiber connections,as well as the regulation mechanism of claustrum on consciousness,cognitive function and sleep has been reviewed,in order to provide a reference for further understanding of the structure and physiological role of claustrum.
