Analysis of a Class of Epidemic Model Influenced by Media Coverage

摘要/Abstract

摘要:

在传染病传染期间,社交媒体会对传染病的发展动态产生重大影响,通过社交媒体对公众进行非药物干预的教育可以有效地降低感染的可能性.采用一个新的数学模型来研究在传染病传染期个体由于受媒体报道影响而采取行动进而影响传染病感染的发生和传播,该模型明确地包含了有关社交媒体报道动态和公众潜在的行为变化,首先导出模型的基本再生数,其次研究其稳态稳定性和分支,最后通过数值模拟来支持理论证明.

Abstract:

It was found that social media may have a significant impact on the dynamics of infectious diseases during an epidemic, and the education of the public on non-drug interventions through social media can effectively reduce the possibility of infection. This paper uses a new mathematical model to study the occurrence and spread of infections influenced by the actions of individuals due to the effect of media reports during an epidemic. The model explicitly includes the dynamics of social media coverage and the potential behavioral changes of the public. Firstly, we will derive the basic reproductive number of the model. Secondly, we will study its steady-state stability and Hopf bifurcation. At last, the theoretical proof is supported by numerical simulation.
