A textual analysis of the English fairy tales
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
与Mathesius所列举的捷克童话起首句的类型相比英语童话起首句的类型似乎更加丰富多彩, 但都表明多数情况下句子的信息结构是从已知到未知, 即表述出发点在句首, 表述核心在句尾。英语童话起首句的类型分析还表明情景语境和文化语境的作用在叙述的起首句中表现得更加明显, 所以Mathesius《关于句子的所谓实际切分》中的语境应扩展为包括语篇语境、情景语境和文化语境。
Abstract：
Study shows that there are more types of the start sentence in English fairy tales than in Czech ones, most of which prove that the known information usually appears at the beginning of a sentence and the new information later.It is also argued that the notion of context by Mathesius should be extended to include cotext, and the context of culture as well.
