The esthetic pursuit in the dramas by Li Yu
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
"好看"和"耐看"是李渔戏剧的重要特色, 也是其戏剧的美学追求。李渔戏剧的"好看", 表现在角色丰富、情节曲折、故事奇特、语言俳谐等多个方面, 具有浓郁的趣味性、娱乐性;李渔戏剧的"耐看", 表现为立意具有新颖性、厚重性特点, 能将人生真知灼见和生活智慧贯穿于剧作之中, 给人以极大的启发性。"好看"、"耐看"的戏剧理念, 在中国戏剧史上具有里程碑意义。它不仅为清初李渔赢得了丰厚的物质回报和广泛的社会赞誉, 也为今人树立了可资借鉴的艺术标尺, 提供了宝贵的艺术经验。
Abstract：
The colorful characters, complicated plots, and legendary novelties in the dramas by Li Yu enjoy popularity and longevity, thus reflecting the esthetic pursuit of the dramatist. Besides, the dramas by Li Yu are filled with the wisdoms of life, thus serving as a milestone in the Chinese literature of dramas in the early Qing Dynasty.
