An historical study of the eight-legged essays in Ming and Qing
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
八股文在明清时期的科举考试中, 占有十分重要的地位, 且流传和影响十分广泛, 但其中的一些"细节"问题尚有待于深入考订。八股文之称"时文", 有与时俱进等多层含义;八股文专场考试又名"前场", 反映出明清统治者以科举考试推行程朱理学的目的;八股文代言的最高境界并非惟妙惟肖, 越像越好。
Abstract：
The eight-legged essay is so popular in the imperial examinations in Ming and Qing dynasties. This deserves our peculiar attention, for certain essays are progressive, symbolizing the purpose of the rulers to disseminate the philosophy of Cheng-Zhu school.
