A debate over Liang Qichao's view of the public morality from private morality
摘要/Abstract
源自梁启超的"私德外推即为公德"的观点, 忽视了公德生成的长期性、复杂性和规律性, 是对私德与公德关系的一种简单化、表面化的理解。辩证考察私德公德之间的内在联系, 不能否认和抹杀二者在交往对象、适用范围和道德准则等方面的本质区别。历史和现实充分表明, 无论公德还是私德都是社会利益关系的反映, 尤其是特定交往关系的产物, 各有自身的特点和变化轨迹。批判性地接受梁启超的观点对于当今中国的公德建设尤为重要。
It is claimed in the paper that Liang Qichao's view of the public morality from private morality ignores the rules of the growth and formation of the public morality, over simplifying the relations of both moral-ities. So it is argued that the distinction should not neglect or defy the inner natures concerning objects, adaptability, and moral norms. It is observed in history and reality that both public and private moralities reflect the social benefits, in particular, the specific products in exchange, each with its distinctive feature. And it is concluded that a critical study is significant of Liang Qichao's view of the morality for the current construction of Chinese public morality.
