On the Neo-Democracy and CPC's cultural consciousness during the democratic revolutionary period
摘要/Abstract
《新民主主义论》揭示了文化在半殖民地半封建的中国社会变革中的重要性,总结和梳理了近代中国文化发展的历史特点和演化趋势,明确了中国文化走向现代化的历史必然。提出了建立"民族的科学的大众的"文化发展目标以及中国共产党所肩负的文化使命,是中国共产党在民主革命时期已经实现高度的文化自觉、并且已经代表了先进文化发展方向的重要标志。
On the Neo-Democracy highlights the significance of cultures, with an analysis of the historical features and developmental tendencies, for the Chinese social reforms during the semi-colonial, and semi-feudal times. It is further pointed out that the Chinese cultures need modernizing from historical perspectives. And it is proposed that the Chinese Communist Party is committed to an "ethnic, scientific, and public" mission of culture. Thus, it marks the CPC's great sense of cultural consciousness and the tendency of the advanced cultural development.
