A comparative study of the functions of three sorts of phrases in Contemporary Chinese
摘要/Abstract
黄、廖本《现代汉语》有关主谓短语、量词(动量)短语和介词短语等三种短语的功能类属,几个版本前后多变,终未成定论。参照国内影响较大的其他几本相关教材,采用短语在句中充当何种句法成分、中心语是或相当于哪类词用这一主、辅结合的标准加以比较、分析,将主谓短语分别归入名词性、动词性、形容词性短语功能类,量词(动量)短语和介词短语均归入形容词性短语功能类似乎更为合理一些。
The course book of Contemporary Chinese compiled by Huang Borong and Liao Xudong has offered in its different versions various definitions of the three sorts of phrases, namely, nominal, measurement, and prepositional phrases.Based on this, the writer of the paper compares the course book with relevant course books, focusing on the analysis of the syntactic components, and functional features of the three kinds of phrases. It is concluded that those phrases serving as subject and predicate are put into nominal category, and the measurement and prepositional phrases into adjectival category.
