On the compound valence of the semantic-oriented complementation
摘要/Abstract
一、补语指向动词从狭义的角度来看只包括带表示时体意义的趋向补语的动结式,这种动结式的配价继承动词的配价,不受补语影响。二、以往归为补语指向动词的动结式并不是一个同质的类,其补语的语义指向往往不是单一的,这是影响其配价的决定因素。补语多指向的情况分为两类:补语不表示时体意义的,其多指向是由于隐含的语义关系导致的,这是动结式表达的事件被概念化为与一般使成或者非使成事件相近的事件类型的根本动力;补语表示时体意义的动结式处于语法化的过程中,补语的语义指向由指向动结式动词的论元转而指向动词,因为处于过渡阶段,所以出现补语多语义指向的现象。
This paper argues for the compound valence of the semantic complementation patterns. Namely, the complicated meaning of the complementation is neither based on the semantic valence of verb, nor that of the complement alone. In order to achieve a better understanding of the complementation, we ought to learn the natures of both the verb and the complement, for certain complements not having the temporal meaning may convey covert semantic relations. Verbs themselves are of a complex nature, which attributes to the complexity of the semantic-oriented complementation.
