The relevance of translation behavior and the comprehensive national strength
摘要/Abstract
摘要：
在国与国之间的文化交流中,一国综合国力的强弱影响着其文化传播力的大小。翻译作为国际文化传播的一种形式,也不可避免地受到国家实力的影响和制约。一方面,翻译活动映射出国家实力变化的现实;另一方面,国家综合国力是翻译活动及其发展的基石和后盾。理解这一结论有助于我们认识翻译的性质和特征。
Abstract：
In the cross-cultural communications, the comprehensive strength of a nation will determine the dissemination of its cultures. Likewise, as a medium of the international communication, translation practice will resemble the realism of the strength of a nation, and vice versa. It is, thus, helpful for us to understand the nature and feature of the translations.
