An exploration of the mystical hearsays during the Boxer movement

摘要：
义和团运动时期神秘传闻盛行的现象十分醒目。这类传闻内容上主要可以归纳为有关"神术"、"异事"者和谶谣乩语两个分类。其盛行既有着最为直接的现实激发因素,又有着长期历史性承传积累,涉及政治、文化和社会心理乃至传播机制等多方面的因素。从其社会作用看,既有着"灭洋"政治指向下的多重功用,也明显具有社会扰害作用。
Abstract：
Mystical rumors are widely spread during the Boxer movement, which fall into the two cate gories of divine heterodoxies and much-touted prophecies. Such popularity is directly resulted from realistic motivations, and historical reasons that cover political, cultural, and socio-psychological factors. From the social function, it reflects both politics-oriented functions of wiping out the foreigners and disturbing the so cial stability.
