On the troops Emperor Yang-Ti of the Sui Dynasty used for his first conquest

摘要：
隋炀帝首征高丽动用的军队有1133800人,现存史籍有两种记载:一说其为隋军总人数,一说其仅为陆军人数。从而引发了学界的两种不同观点,迄今未有定论。经考证,这一数字应为隋军总人数,其中陆军约1046600人,水军约70000人,蕃兵约17200人。
Abstract：
As for the 1,133,800 troops the Emperor Yang-Ti of the Sui Dynasty used for his first conquest of Koreans,there are two versions of the filing.By one the number is the total troops of the emperor,and by the other the number is just the ground troops of the emperor.This dif ference has given rise to a cont inuous dispute in the historical circle.Af ter a careful study,the writers of this paper have found out that the number is the total troops of the Sui Emperor,of which 1,046, 600 are g round troops,70,000 navy,and 17,200 northern or northw estern minority soldiers.
