A stylistic and metaphorical study of the prosaic fu

摘要：
西汉散体赋和先秦隐语在本质特征上有相似性,它们都以"状物"为表达的目的和手段,从而可确认隐语为散体赋的正源,并以此作为探讨散体赋文体形成的出发点。
Abstract：
The paper analyses the comparability between the prosaic fu of the Western Han Dynasty and metaphorical uses of the pre-Qin. It is found that both devices are used for the descriptions, and thus the metaphorical use serves as origin f rom which the prosaic fu is derived.
