休谟始终认为，在人性中自爱和仁爱同时并存，但比较其前期著作《人性论》和后期著作《道德原则研究》可以发现，他的人性论述的侧重点不同，这种不同是由两部著作各自的立论意旨和论述主题决定的
Abstract：
Hume claims that self2love and kindheartedness coexist in the humanity. However， his early work On Human Nature contradicts with the later work Explorations of Principles of Morality in that both have their respective main theme and assumptions.
